Creating Monique

There is so much involved before I even touch the canvas. First, I have to convince one of my gorgeous patient friends to come and pose for me. I usually take the pictures outside because of the warm sunlight 'look' although, a few have posed when the grass is still damp from the morning dew and there is a definite chill in the air. Then I go though the hundreds of photos and edit them. The most challenging part is deciding what to leave out and if I am achieving fluidity. However, showing you pictures of those processes aren't nearly as fun as the progression below.
